With her fourth wedding anniversary looming later this month, Khloe Kardashian is still hanging on to the hope that she can save her troubled marriage.
But her controlling and concerned mother has other ideas, and has reportedly demanded that the Keeping Up With Kardashians star files for divorce from NBA player Lamar Odom.
Even after being devastated by cheating allegations and drug abuse revelations, Khloe, 29, is still reluctant to pull the trigger and admit that their relationship is over.
However, momager, Kris hasother ideas, and is prepared to frog-march her daughter straight to the divorce court to rid her famous family of Lamar for good.
“At Kris’ insistence, Khloe did meet with a divorce lawyer… it was something she was forced into doing by her mom,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Kris was very heavy-handed and said Khloe had a responsibility to her sisters, Kim and Kourtney, and the Kardashian brand to distance herself from Lamar,’”they added.
“It’s all about the bottom line with Kris, and Khloe couldn’t care less about that. She is still holding out hope that her marriage to Lamar can be saved.”
Radar reported that Khloe refuses to let go of Odom because her confidence is completely wrapped up in her marriage to the former Los Angeles Clipper power forward, who she married in 2009 and has since been desperate to have children with.
On Monday, Khloe attempted to cheer herself up and put on a brave face with a pampered Instagram photo session.
“Love yourself for a lifetime rather than a moment. Glam squad shout out @jenatkinhair @robscheppy,” she tweeted, alongside a pretty picture with her hair pulled back in a half ponytail.
The fresh-faced and glowing image was a sharp contrast to the stressed out expression that Khloe has naturally worn since her relationship hit the rocks.
