UNILAG GATE UNDER LOCK AND KEY FOR THREE HOURS

Activities seized at  University of Lagos Gate for space of three hours. This came through demonstration of some unknown students who evaded the premises to express their grievance towards the ASUU, FG inconsideration on the on-going strike. Though peaceful as it may be said, the Police and the School Security Operative deprived these students from entering the school . They waited at the gate to voice their grievances without any supportive disposition of the University of Lagos students. For the period of this protest, activities at the Unilag Gate seized which led to  a heavy traffic from the beginning of university Road to

the entrance of the Gate.    

One of  Empowered Network Correspondents who witnessed this peaceful protest reported that students, parents, staff alike became spectators as protesters  expressed their fury to the security operatives  for declining to open the  Gate.    recline
