The 2014 FIFA World Cup draw took place in Brazil yesterday with loads of excitement and surprises.
Some countries were paired in a easy group of the likes of France who are paired with Switzerland, Ecuador and Honduras; Cote d'Ivoire paired with Japan, Greece and Colombia. While others, the like of USA, England are in a stiff or deadly group with their chance of qualifying from the group into the 16th round almost like impossibility.
Nigeria will
be playing against one of their opponents of the group stage in the last World Cup played on Africa soil 'South Africa 2010' - Argentina, also against Iran and Bosnia.
Though, Nigeria will be playing their
opening game against Iran and even though Bosnia looks like it
will be an easy game for us, the country is ranked higher than Nigeria
in the world.
They are ranked 21st, while Nigeria is ranked 36th, but
I'm sure we'll qualify alongside Messi's Argentina.
