Playing General Themistocles, he leads his soldiers to war against the
Persians led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes and Persian vengeful commander
Artemisia.

Rodrigo Santoro returns as Xerxes, Lena Headey as Queen Gorgo, while Eva Green is cast as Artemisia. The sidequel to Zack Snyder-directed 2007 film "300" will be released Stateside in 3D on March 7, 2014.
