Bala Nkiyu, head coach of Nigeria's U17 women team, has said that the Flamingoes will not underestimate the Colombian team when both sides clash at the Alejandra Morera Soto Stadium on Thursday morning. Nigeria beat China PR 2-1 in their first game whileFabian Tarborda’s wards could not survive the Mexican heat as they fell 4-0 and must beat the Flamingoes to fancy their chances of making progress.Going into this tie, the Nigeria handler has promised to avoid complacency as they set their minds on winning the tournament.“There is no and won't be any easy game at this tournament a and we are not going to underrate Colombia because we beat China 2-1 and that they lost 4-0 to Mexico,” Nkiyu said ahead of the game.“We are going to approach the match against Colombia with more seriousness and improved performance than we had against China because ourobjective is to win the first title for Nigeria.“We are looking forward to the next game against Colombia knowing well that all the teams at this championship are here based on merit,” said he.The game kicks off 3am Thursday morning Nigeria time while China PR will try Mexico for size in the other group game.
