Former Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug
Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and ex minister of Information,
Professor Dora Akunyili, has died according to a family source.
She died in the Indian hospital where she was taken to on May 11 to receive medical treatment after her health deteriorated.
Various reliable sources have confirmed her passing. She was only 59. So sad! May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
